Al Wunder’s new workshop
SOLOS
Five day workshops designed to help those who want to develop their skills as solo improvisers. We will work technically on what I call the three Vs of performance, Visual, Vocal and Verbal, developing clarity and interest in our movements, our voice and our words.
Along with developing these technical skills there will be a strong focus on developing the confidence to be creatively impulsive. I consider this to be the improviser’s most important skill. It is what makes improvised performance unique.
Class sizes will be small, a maximum of 6 people, allowing me to spend a lot of time individually with each student. I will do three to four of these workshops during the year. Some will meet one evening a week for five weeks; others will be week-long (Monday-Friday) workshops. They will be four hours long. The cost will be $350. Here is the date for the first one.
